I believe in wearing earrings every day. Yes, even during a pandemic. Even when you are home alone and no one can see you. Even when you are wearing sweats or exercise clothes. Even when you are with your kids.
Here we are again, trying to get you out of your exercise clothes! Yes, you need washable clothing when you are home all day, alternating between work, childcare, and housework. However, if you look put-together, you will feel put-together.
I don’t know about you, but my “dress” pants haven’t seen the light of day in the last two and a half months. I’ve been living in pants made of cotton, jersey, ponte, and technical stretch fabrics, just like everyone else. I’m writing this blog while wearing linen shorts. Funny how linen feels fancy all of a sudden!
Last week while bike riding with the kids, Lani saw a woman sitting in the driver’s seat of her car, cutting her split ends with kid scissors. Let’s not let it get that bad people. We will not be cutting our own hair any time soon, but we are styling it a bit differently as we’ve not been able to get hair cuts in quite a while.
