What’s on my reading list?
Here are a lot of the books I’ve read in 2020. I’m including the kids books that have either become quality-time reading for our family or have kept my kids enthralled (off-screen) for long periods of time. All books are links to purchase through one of the DC area Black-owned bookstores.
Yes, this is a fashion blog, but it is a fashion blog for humans. Acknowledging others’ humanity and struggle is important to us at Real Life Style. I’ve compiled some of my writings into this blog for those of you not subscribed to the newsletter.
One thing that might strike you after reading this list is that there is only one fashion podcast on it. I read Women’s Wear Daily, the fashion industry newspaper (well, now online), daily. That’s enough for me. In my podcasts I want someone to tell me how to get stuff done more efficiently, make time for fun, be happier, be a better parent, and run my business more successfully.
