5 Signs You Need a Personal Stylist

A misconception about our clientele has recently come to my attention. I’ve had a few people tell me that someone wouldn’t be an appropriate client because he or she was “too fashionable.” Let’s not discriminate! Just because you are fashionable doesn’t mean you have the time or the inclination to organize your closet, do ALL of your own shopping, switch your wardrobe out for the season, and take pictures of perfectly coordinated, put-together looks yourself.  It is okay for both the fashion-forward and the fashion-averse to ask for help.

We thought we’d help you out by giving you our list of 5 Signs You Need a Personal Stylist.

Do you or someone you know need a personal stylist? Keep reading to find out.

5  Signs You Need a Personal Stylist

.

1. You spend 45+ minutes putting together an outfit.

.

.

It’s date night and your partner is pacing impatiently by the front door while you frantically flail around your closet, trying to figure out what to wear. At the end of this exercise, there is a pile of  clothing on the bed, yet you are still unhappy with your outfit. Sound like you? This is why our service is such a popular gift from spouses!

.

.

2. You are always reaching for the same few items.

.

.

Do you ignore 80% of your wardrobe? Most people only wear 20% of what is in their closet, so you are not alone. A personal stylist makes sure that every item in your closet is something you love and feel good in. No more old rejects clogging up your closet space. Can I tell you a secret? Most of what we take out of client’s closets they were rarely wearing. Don’t be afraid of the empty space. Filling up our closets with imperfect clothing costs us time, money, and stress. Stop the madness and hire a personal stylist to solve your biggest wardrobe dilemmas.

.

.

3. You feel nauseous by the very idea of shopping.

.

.

If the mere thought of shopping makes you want to hide under your bed, it’s time to hire someone to do it for you…and do it right! Shopping does not have to be overwhelming. Instead of wandering the aisles overwhelmed, you could have a fitting room filled (by us) with your wants and needs, ready and waiting for you upon arrival at the store.

.

.

4. You have no time (or take no time) for yourself.

.

.

Do you consider grocery shopping alone your “me” time? If so, it’s time to treat yourself with a gift that is both practical and just for you: an appointment with a personal stylist! Have questions? I offer free 30 minute phone consultations to help you figure out if this is the right service for you. Email me at lani@real-life-style.com to schedule yours now.

.

5. You’ve recently experienced a significant life change.

.

.

Having new baby, getting divorced, started a new job, moving to a new city, losing a lot of weight, gaining a lot of weight…these are all changes that require a new wardrobe! Shop purposefully and within budget with the help of your personal stylist. Have questions? Shoot me an email at lani@real-life-style.com. Whatever you do, don’t continue to suffer the pain of fashion frustration for no reason. RLS is here to help with multiple options for your stylist and shopping budget.
