A Few of My Favorite Things

Here are a few of my favorite things this week, which just might be easy treats to buy yourself this holiday season. Have a good holiday weekend!

Happy Shopping!

This $4 pencil from E.L.F. really works. I’ve experimented with color correctors to disguise my overly dark under-eye circles over the years but none made enough of a difference for me to take the time to add the extra step to my makeup routine. This E.L.F. orange colored stick is so effective and easy to use that I sometimes smear it on by itself in 4 seconds on the way out the door to school drop-off. I hate leaving the house without any makeup because of my circles, but some mornings, it just isn’t happening. This stick saves me from having to hear a chorus of “You look so tired,” on the way into school. And it is $4!

I have been LIVING in these pants from Uniqlo on cold days. My legs get so cold in the winter that I can’t wear pants without tights or long underwear underneath. I’ve been wearing these pants over my exercise leggings on the way to yoga and solidcore, and throwing them on to take the kids to school or the grocery store on Sunday mornings. Pro? They make your butt look cute while keeping it warm. Con? The washing instructions say they must be hand washed. I think I need another pair!

Kyle is such a good employee. She got me super yummy dark chocolate and this incredible new YSL lip gloss for the holidays. I hate the feeling of lip gloss on dry lips in the winter. I always end up just scrubbing it off. This stuff is different. The base of the gloss is oil and the color is so natural that you can wear it with any amount of makeup. It also tastes and smells delicious! Now I want every color. Thanks, Kyle!
