No longer does the hostess need to wear a beaded jacket. Now you can wear beaded slippers with relaxed, soft-as-anything velvet pants, and a cardigan. Yes, a cardigan! Kyle has owned these stunning Llani Heavy Metal Slides (that is Lani but with two L’s!) for awhile. I freaked out when she casually walked into a client appointment wearing them. They are GORGEOUS. We also love the comfortable, fancy slides made by Birdies.

A New Year’s Eve Outfit for Zoom or Keeping Warm Outside
This multilayered outfit would work on both Zoom or your friend’s patio. You know the Zoom rules by now, don’t you? Big earrings or a necklace paired with a good color near your face. Grab a frosty drink in your prettiest glass and launch that meeting. Pro tip: put on double the makeup you would for in person engagements. If you don’t look overdone in real life, you don’t have enough makeup on for Zoom. You need eyes, lips, and cheeks, or you’ll disappear into the screen. I keep a bright lipstick next to my computer. You can also use it for blush in a pinch!
