Clients have been requesting more sustainability in their wardrobes lately. I always tell them that the number one way to build a sustainable wardrobe is to buy clothes that they love and to wear them. Having a foundation of classic pieces to build upon and freshen up with a few new, thoughtfully chosen items each season is a sustainable wardrobe strategy. Yes, it is wonderful to buy clothing made of recycled fibers, etc. but buying fewer pieces more intentionally is the best place to start.
