The final runway shot from Rodarte’s Fall 2014 show

You might not know this about me, but I’ve been obsessed with Yoda since I saw the first movie in the theatre as a small child. I also have a weird habit of telling people, even ones I don’t know that well, “May the force be with you.” I can not wait for my boys to get to the Star Wars “age” so that I can buy them the toys I really want for myself! James had a Yoda tee shirt when he was smaller and I would put it on him each week as soon as it came out of the wash.
I was steadfast in my resolve not to purchase any clothing for my as yet unborn baby when pregnant with Max…until I saw a baby Yoda costume in a store. Unfortunately, Mr. Real Life Style thought I was being a crazy pregnant lady and wouldn’t let me buy it. Major crazy pregnant lady fight ensued!
No, I have not purchased my Star Wars: Episode VII-The Force Awakens tickets yet. If you read this blog regularly (or know me at all), you know that the last movie I saw in the theater was Argo. Yes, seriously. Even without seeing the movie immediately, I’ll still be able to enjoy the Star Wars fashion and beauty choices. I hope you do too. And although I have never before purchased a Cover Girl mascara, you can bet I will be buying the one with my favorite quote!
May the force be with you,
