Why Target summer Must-Haves you ask? Isn’t Real Life Style a luxury style consulting company? Why, yes. However, we love a good deal as much as anyone. And summer clothing tends to last about the same amount of time, regardless of the cost. Plus, you always love the Target items from our summer blogs and personal summer wardrobes the most. So this year we decided to give the people what they want, a Target Summer!
Easy Breezy Target Summer
This ten dollar Short Sleeve T-Shirt from A New Day is one of our hero pieces this summer. The RLS team members own multiple, and so do our clients. I tried to get the olive Pull-On Gauze Shorts from Universal Thread last year, but had no luck. I pounced as soon as they came out this summer! Abbie, our new assistant stylist and in-house makeup artist, has been rocking the Platform Sport Sandals in that adorable green colorway.
The Women’s Essential Crewneck Short Sleeve T-Shirt from All in Motion is the perfect short sleeve athleisure tee. And it is $12!!! The Women’s Megan EVA Single Band Slide Sandals from Shade & Shore are a mash-up of the Birkenstock EVA Madrid sandals and their leather big buckle style. They are fabulous. And only $14.99! But the real scene stealer of this outfit is the $40 Straw Circle Rope Tote Handbag from Universal Thread. This oversized straw tote looks so designer that I have already had two clients purchase it off their phones within 10 minutes of seeing mine.
A Most Fashionable Target Summer
This outfit starts with our favorite Short Sleeve T-Shirt from Target, of course. The Stretch Woven High-Rise Wide Leg Pant from All in Motion will keep you cool and dry with its fashionably wide leg. Universal Thread has created a handbag for $35 that is a dead ringer for this much more expensive Ulla Johnson Tote. And the Magnolia clogs that senior stylist Kyle discovered complete the look!
The Best PJs for Your Money
More credit to Kyle. I had previously purchased a pajama set from Target just like the Top and Shorts Pajama Set below. Although I loved the price, look, and functionality of them, I felt they wore rather quickly. I could have purchased the same pajamas from a more expensive brand, but could never bring myself to spend $80 on one pair. Then Kyle told me that Target had changed sleepwear brands and upgraded the fabric. Now the Target Stars Above brand and the $80 sets are nearly indistinguishable. I own three of the Soft Short Sleeve Notch Collar Top and Shorts Pajama Sets from Stars Above and could not be happier with the quality.
I’m afraid to tell you just how many of the shoes below I own because Mr. Real Life Style is reading this… Let’s just say if there is a fun color of the Birkenstock EVA sandals you don’t want to spring for, it doesn’t hurt as bad in the $10 Shade & Shore version. I’m dying for the Women’s Isla Sport Sandals, which my sister bought on my advice. She says they are some of the most comfortable sandals she has ever owned. Can you see the neoprene lining the entire sandal?!
Are you having a Target Summer? What have you bought at Target lately? Let us know in the comments below. In case you are wondering, we did not include any dresses this year because they were selling out as soon as we put them in the blog! Speaking of, put yourself on the waitlist for anything that is out of stock. They do constantly restock on the items above.
