The Combat Boot – The One Shoe to Update Your Whole Wardrobe This Season

The combat boot is the article of footwear you can buy this season to update your entire wardrobe. Combat boots can be worn with both skirts, pants, and dresses—short or long. It is rare to find a shoe that can do all of these things.

Already have a lot of black boots or want something more unexpected? One of our favorite styles, the Vionic Lani Lace-Up Boot (seriously, the Lani!), comes in a beautiful burgundy suede. The dreamy, cream color of the Dolce Vita Lottie Platform Bootie looks just like the pair Kyle has been sporting this season.

Our Favorite Combat Boots

Which combat boot am I lusting after the most on this list for myself? I do love the burgundy Vionic Lani, which we sold to a client in black, but I don’t think I would wear it enough. The Sam Edelman Nina Boot is so sophisticated. I am loving the dressiness of the Jessica Simpson Karia Buckle Strap Lace-Up Combat Booties. The 7 year old girl in me really wants the Dr. Scholl’s Guild Star Combat Boot. I feel like one could wear the Naturalizer Sycamore Booties for the rest of one’s life. They would never go out of style and just get better with age! Doc Martens are a classic. Vaneli and Pikolinos are super comfortable, well-made brands. How to decide????
