Warm layers for outdoor gatherings is not a blog post I anticipated writing this year, but not much about 2020 has been predictable, has it? There is a reason this blog and my style consulting firm are called Real Life Style. We are here for all of your fashion needs, from galas to (distanced) outdoor gatherings around a fire pit.

I once loaned my Uniqlo HeatTech Warm-Lined Pants to a client for a trip to Iceland. Instead of only wearing them on her excursions, as anticipated, she ended up wearing them instead of jeans most days. They are so warm, I can’t wear them inside!

Don’t forget to BYOB (Bring Your Own Blanket) and keep the heat in with a warm hat and socks. I have a chronic disease called “I can’t stop losing my hat,” so I buy a few of the Uniqlo HeatTech Knitted Caps every year. If only they would bring back the burgundy one I lost last year…
