The 2021 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is here! The hype around the Anniversary Sale has been dying down the past few years. Customers were tired of influencers pressuring them to buy things they didn’t need. On top of that, the items we do want always seem to be sold out! (A reminder that things restock! Keep checking back for what you want.) When Covid-19 hit the world last spring, Nordstrom had to reevaluate the products offered in the #NSale. They scrambled to purchase more of what people were wearing that summer: sweatpants, leggings, sneakers, and Barefoot Dreams cardigans.
We’re not convinced the 2021 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale hits the mark this year, but there are a few things we know they got right. There is really good denim from Wit and Wisdom, Good American, Kut From The Kloth, and NYDJ. Our favorite lingerie from Natori, Wacoal, and Chantelle is back. We also love the selection of footwear from RLS favorites like Vionic and Blondo. Kyle purchased a Madewell sweater and pair of jeans, the Spanx underwear in black, and Marc Fisher booties in blue suede!
As your personal stylists, we are here with our annual reminders: don’t overconsume and do shop strategically! If you skipped over your fall clothing last year, check out what you have before you shop the sale. Make a list and check it twice. Only buy what you need and love.

We stuck with our go-to business casual items for this section, including Vince Camuto pants, Halogen tops, and NYDJ pants. Even if you’re not going back to the office, this top is really the perfect shirt for Zoom in so many great colors.

If you’re looking for a fall moto jacket, may we recommend the Kut from the Kloth faux suede jacket? Lani has one and it feels like wearing a blanket. Or if you’re still shopping for summer, the Paige Christy joggers are the perfect easy pant. All of our clients love the Caslon drape jacket, so don’t miss out on this restock! They’ve been out for months (probably to save for this sale).
