Let’s face it, no needs a purse anymore. The only bag I’ve used in a month is my much-loved Leatherology leather phone crossbody. It fits my phone and a few credit cards. Who even needs credit cards these days now that we don’t even go into stores on our walks? But we will need them again one day, hopefully sooner rather than later, so I’m only offering you options with space for credit cards and I.D.
Here it is, the bag that started it all…I put the Leatherology Long Cross Body Phone Pocket on my Holiday Wish List blog, received it from my generous cousin, and haven’t stopped using it since. It weighs nothing so it is really comfortable. The cross body phone pocket is chic and professional enough to use while shopping at fancy stores in New York, but also simple enough to take on a walk around the neighborhood in athleisure, both of which I’ve already done with mine! The bordeaux color is my favorite because one, it is one of my power colors, and two, it matches brown, black, and navy. The Leatherology bag is an incredible value for the quality of the leather and construction.

The Bandolier phone case was the star of my fashion trip to Israel almost 3 years ago now. The cool costume designer from L.A. had it and the rest of us were obsessed. I never ended up getting one myself because I’ve had a custom RLS cover on my phone forever but I still kind of want one anyway! It is so practical and cool at the same time. The “purse” is really a phone case on a strap, so you never have to take your phone out, it is just available to pick up and answer or use to take pictures at all times. The original design only held your phone but now they have multiple versions that hold credit cards and also interchangeable pouches that attach to make the phone case act like a real purse. The major reason the brand stands out, behind the pure practicality, is the true style of the product. I encourage you to check out the full range of their products, styles and colors. Genius, and made in L.A.

How about a super reasonably priced version of a phone crossbody bag that comes in happy colors? You’ve got to love the name alone of the Free People Dance All Night Crossbody Wallet. The straps are adjustable and it is real leather, all for the bargain price of $28. Of course I love the lavender! If you aren’t sure you would use a cross body bag for your phone, the price and cute style of the Free People bag make it a low commitment trial.

I absolutely love this Vince Camuto phone crossbody bag for summer or as a pretty neutral any time of the year. I find it so chic. The metal detailing and the edging on the leather look much more expensive than the bag really is. In fact, when I posted this blog, the Vince Camuto website was having 40% off everything! The color is called Pink Lemonade; how refreshing is that?

Would you like a few vegan options? How about an edgy vegan phone cross body with a chain strap and zip pouch so you can throw a lip balm and hand sanitizer in there too? The Urban Originals Total Story Vegan Leather Phone Crossbody Bag is also on super sale so grab it before it is gone! This bag is anything but basic and will also go out to a bar when those are open again.

The Sondra Roberts faux-quilted leather crossbody bag is notable for it’s many pockets. It has two zippered pockets on one side, a non-zippered pocket on the other, and special pockets for your credit cards on the inside of the bag. I like that it would work well for both work and casual. The striped strap is so cute too!
