I made the mistake of forgetting sneakers when we went away for the holidays. Well ok, I didn’t forget, I wasn’t willing to use the suitcase space that I knew would be needed for all the loot my kids would be taking home! This was silly as I was going to Nashville to eat, let’s see…barbeque everything, something ridiculously delicious that they call hot chicken, queso and chips, full turkey dinner of course, and fondue. And did I mention dessert?
Seriously, did I think I wouldn’t want to take at least a brisk WALK while I was there? The only upshot of this mistake was getting to borrow my cousin’s super cool gold sneakers. Gold sneakers make exercise so much more fun! How did I never realize this? I’m still good with my current purple (of course) sneakers but I’m on the hunt for a pair of gold ones when my current pair bites the dust.
