J.W. Hulme Co. is the latest American heritage brand to go mainstream and the first one whose products I’ve been really excited about. Have you heard of them? Am I the one who’s been living under a rock? This blog post is happening only because I received one of their catalogs in the mail. The bags may seem a little expensive at first, but not when you realize they have a lifetime guarantee. If your bag needs fixing, you can just contact customer service and they will take care of it. That is music to my ears. Recently, one of my clients had a multiple thousand dollar “designer” bag. When it needed a significant repair after a year of light use, the company told her they couldn’t help her because she had purchased it at a department store, not their boutique. Nice.
The double ring hardware on the Belmont line of bags is super chic, and we are obsessed with the Seaside and Fern colors in every iteration. The large flat pouch and leather envelope would make chic clutches and the small ones interesting wallets. Which is your favorite?
