I’ve been without a truly comfortable black flat for years. Like most of us, I have 4 different pairs I wear for different occasions, but nothing that I feel I can wear for a full day of shopping without some suffering involved. The problem? My design standards are too high and my feet suck. I’ve been lusting after the pointy toed loafers this year, but was convinced that they would kill my feet so I wouldn’t bother. Then along came the Clarks Corabeth Erin Flat. It is like there are little pillows inside! I couldn’t buy them on the spot because, you know, I wasn’t supposed to be shopping for myself. However, I will go back to the store to figure out my size and purchase them soon.
Looking for a black flat update? I highly recommend the pointy-toed loafer! See below for the pretty and comfortable, modern and affordable, and designer versions.
