Flat and Flatform Sandals
The “flatform” is the latest trend in sandals. I love the flatform because it has the comfort of a flat but the height of a heel or wedge. Nothing is easier in summer than a slide or a mule. Slip it on and go. Super helpful when you don’t have a free hand! You know by now how much we love our Birkenstock Arizona EVA Essentials as a flip flop replacement. Kyle still loves her Birkenstock Madrid Big Buckle Slide Sandal. And, even though I already have the flat version of the block-heeled Vaneli Choux Sandals (in two colors!), I don’t want this style any less!

Wedges and Heeled Sandals
A wedge or heeled sandal is the perfect spring comfort shoe if you wear a lot of dresses or skirts in the spring and summer. My best friend has a version of the Dansko Malin Clog Sandal in a gorgeous light tan color. Practically every time she texts me to ask which shoe she should wear with an outfit, I pick that one. It just makes the outfit! Now if only they would reissue her shoe so I could buy myself a pair…

Sometimes you just need a pump. But that doesn’t mean you have to be uncomfortable. My favorite Ally pumps now come in Vegan Black Leather! If you need a shoe with a really low heel, you can’t beat the Naturalizer Banks Flat. Which is not a flat, so I don’t know why they call it that!

Sneakers
You should have a pair of sneakers in your spring comfort shoe arsenal. Not running shoes, but cute spring sneakers. I’m loving the pink Freya Suede Sneakers myself. A mom at school (who always looks amazing!) has been sporting a pair of muted pink leather sneakers the past few weeks. If that doesn’t sound practical, how about a Rothy’s Sneaker (made from recycled materials) that you can throw in the washing machine? They come in great colors and patterns. You can also wash the Everlane Forever Slip-On Sneaker. Bonus! There is a lace up style too and they are are fully recyclable!
