To kick off “This or That” week here at RLS, we are starting with one of the major footwear trends of the season: the suede espadrille slip-on sneaker. And yes, that is a thing. As always, we are going to look at the high end version first.
The Tod’s version is gorgeous of course, with a refined straw edging the clean white rubber bottom of the sneaker. This is a great investment if you normally spend this much on your shoes. For everyone else, the $40 Lands’ End version is just as stylish and maybe a bit younger and edgier with its thick braid of straw edging the multi-color rubber bottom. Your choice!
