Gift Ideas for Her

Believe it or not, the Holiday season is upon us and it’s time for our RLS annual gift guides! We wanted to make sure we have something for everyone this year, so we’ll be releasing gift guides sequentially with a different focus. This week we’re starting with gift ideas for her. And by “her”, we mean anyone you know who might like these gifts. “Gifts for People” just doesn’t work as a search title, unfortunately. Be it for a friend, family member, co-worker or party host, we have you covered!

Happy gifting!

Gifts for the Home or Host

I know, I know, you wouldn’t dare show up empty handed to a holiday party! We have several host or hostess gift options for you. I love the De Soi non-alcoholic apertifs as a great alternative to the average bottle of wine. Splendid has several amazing and affordable candles this year, including my favorite cinnamon and sandalwood candle. Want something even more special? Look at how cute these pickled cocktail napkins are for the pickleball loving party host!

I also have several books to choose from for gift ideas for her this year. It was difficult for me to narrow it down to just a few! I ended up going with books that are both a good read and perfect for the coffee table. Is someone you know in the process of sprucing up their home? Gift them DC based interior decorator Annie Elliott’s book “My Neighbor Saw Me Naked, and Other Reasons You Need Drapes.” Or if you need a fun gift for the Dolly Parton lover in your life, check out her book “Behind the Seams: My Life in Rhinestones.”

Splendid Cinnamon and Sandalwood Candle, $38

De Soi Sparkling Non-Alcoholic Apertifs, $70

Pickled Cocktail Napkin Set, $48

My Neighbor Saw Me Naked by Annie Elliott, $25

Little Book of Chanel, $98

Behind the Seams: My Life in Rhinestones by Dolly Parton, $25

Gifts for Health and Beauty

I probably should have called this category gifts for sanity and beauty. Two of my favorite gift ideas this season are the coloring books Draw Yourself Calm and The Reverse Coloring Book. I personally love a coloring book to calm me down. These are a slight twist on the average adult coloring book having you draw lines instead of coloring between them.

As for the beauty gifts, I am obsessing over this great Goop beauty lip balm trio, as we enter the winter months. And the Goop Colorblur Tinted Glow Lip + Cheek Balm is the latest addition to the line. Or perhaps the Aromatherapy Associates bath oil set as a gift to hydrate and nourish the skin? I’m hoping I will get one as a repeat gift from a certain member of my own family! You must read the description of the Cosmoss Sacred Mist Eau de Parfum, a new product from Kate Moss’s beauty debut. It sounds heavenly! Ooh, I think I need this entire category!

Aromatherapy Associates Ultimate Well-Being Bath and Shower Oils, $109

Goop Colorblur Tinted Glow Lip + Cheek Balm, $34

Goop Goopgenes Clean Nourishing Lip Balm Trio, $48

Cosmoss Sacred Mist Eau de Parfum, $130

Dyson Airstrait Hair Straightener, $500

Draw Yourself Calm by Amy Maricle, $18.50

The Reverse Coloring Book by Kendra Norton, $10

Gifts with Style

You didn’t think I’d forget some of my truly fashionable gift ideas did you? The Yves Saint Laurent Uptown Leather Clutch comes in more colors than just black, for the bag loving lady you might know. And the Petite Plum Emerald Ticking Stripe Cotton Twill Pajamas comes in women’s, men’s and kid’s sizes, so you can gift a pair to everyone in the family! Know someone who needs a cute new winter hat or scarf? Uniqlo recently released a Anya Hindmarch x Uniqlo collection, which sold very quickly, but there are a few items still for sale online like the Heattech Knitted Beanie or the Heattech Knitted Scarf. So cute and functional!
