Three Valentine’s Day Jewelry Trends

January simultaneously flew by and lasted 100 days, which means… Valentine’s Day is right around the corner! I’ve focused on various charm necklaces for the past couple of years as the perfect gift. However, I expanded my suggested Valentine’s Day jewelry options this year to include some popular trends. You can gift one of these head-turning jewelry trends to yourself or another or forward this blog as a hint. Whether you celebrate Valentine’s Day, Galentine’s Day, or neither, I know you deserve something special this month!

Happy February!

Big Earrings

Right now, the easiest way to elevate your ensemble is with a big, chunky earring. These eye-catching metal earrings are trending big time. I love the quick option to finish your look by throwing on a statement earring when running out the door 5 minutes late. (Anyone else? Just me?) Opt for a sculptural chunky earring like these Cult Gaia or Alexis Bittar options. Or go more streamlined and classic with the Lizzie Fortunato hoops or the J. Crew chainlink earrings. Either way, you’ll be on trend this Valentine’s Day.

Cuff Bracelets

Speaking of chunky metal, maybe you’d prefer a bracelet for your Valentine’s Day jewelry gift? Elsa Peretti, the jewelry designer who made the cuff bracelet famous, will always be the inspiration behind my favorite cuff bracelet choices. But I understand that even the Elsa Peretti Small Bone Cuff (although stunning) might not be in everyone’s price range for a Valentine’s Day gift.

I’ve found some gorgeous organic cuffs that inspire the same vibe as the small bone cuff without the hefty price tag. The Parker Thatch Athena Cuff is visually interesting and edgy, and the Tuckernuck Gold Curved Hayes Cuff is a steal at just $88!

Charm Necklaces

Admittedly, I couldn’t let a Valentine’s Day jewelry post pass by without highlighting my favorite gift option: the charm necklace. Charm necklaces are so personal. They carry an extra special meaning behind them as you can individually select the charms that best describe a loved one or yourself. Catbird has the daintiest, sweetest charms to choose from, and this year, they’ve released personalized gold charm holder necklaces. You can choose your chain, charm holder shape, and charms! It doesn’t get more personal than that! And please play around on the KatMojo website! Their originality, whimsy, and quality seem to be unmatched. Golden fortune cookie charm, anyone?

If you are a cinema buff, you may have noticed Nicole Kidman’s stunning charm necklace in Babygirl. She wore Monica Rich Kosann’s “Adventure” Compass and “Anna” Locket Charm Necklace in the film. Over the past few months, its stunning simplicity has made waves on the internet. It’s just gorgeous! As featured in previous blogs, Monica Rich Kosann has many options at various prices.

  1. I love that necklace Lani, and love that they seem to donate part of the proceeds to Israel. I don’t have a charm necklace and love the idea, so I explored catbird and put myself in the waitlist for the Boston swan boat charm!
