Dolce and Gabbana may have had the cutest runway show of the Fall 2015 collections. Not just because of the red rose motif and velvet pumps, but because of the full nursery setup required backstage. Eleven moms and their children sat on stage while the models walked down the catwalk. Three models even walked with their own children, including a very pregnant Bianca Balti. Other models wore dresses with adorable script that read “I love you mamma” and dresses with prints based on drawings by Domenico Dolce’s nieces and nephews. I’m sure I should be waxing on about the $10,000 dresses, but really I just want to point out how cute the bald baby girl in the blush lace dress is.
The mom/insanely gorgeous model is holding the baby in the exact manner that I had to hold James while walking down the aisle at my sister-in-law’s wedding in August. I can only hope that when she put the baby down she didn’t discover a round, wet spot on her designer Italian dress, as I did on mine. Scroll down past the real models for our runway shot!
