Lani is always telling me how bored she is of Instagram. I agree, on fashion Instagram accounts, there are a lot of repetitive styles and marketing pitches. A whole social media platform based on pictures should be inspirational and fun! Here are a few of my favorite accounts to follow, mostly fashion related (and some just adorable!)

Leandra Medine Cohen of the blog Man Repeller fills her Instagram with layered jewelry, mirror outfit shots, and her newborn baby twin girls. I find her posts to be entertaining and inspirational, mostly because she dresses with a “more is more” philosophy.

If you’re ready for a good laugh at weird SJP fashion with a touch of current politics, follow this account. They hilariously break down each of the girl’s outfits from every episode of Sex and the City. This is one where you could scroll back through months of posts and it never gets old.

OK, can we talk about how every time Lani logs into Instagram, she finds a Bubblebecca Pugs picture and tags me and my sister in it? Because no one can resist this pack. They are a pug rescue group located outside London with dozens of pugs hanging out. Their latest star is a pug mix puppy named Topsy who was rescued at 2 days old.

Christopher Walker photoshops Disney characters into DC scenery. The pictures are so fun and whimsical, such as Alice at the Renwick and Mulan at the Cherry Blossom Festival. In a recent interview, he described that the message behind his pictures is “that despite all the craziness, change and troubles of the world, something still remains constant which is the magic and happiness we create for ourselves, day by day. ”
