Since going with the trend and ditching cable television, I have to say that I miss watching the awards show’s red carpet more than any other network offering. Like Lani always says every time awards season comes around, I just have to spend my Monday mornings in the office looking at the red carpet reviews online.
This year, all of my favorite looks at the Golden Globes had one thing in common: sequins. I’ve been loving sequins lately, especially after our holiday outfit blog post inspired me to wear sequin trousers on New Years Eve. Olivia Wilde looked ridiculously amazing in her Michael Kors burgundy-red sequin gown, reminding me of how much I loved her stunning green sequin pregnancy look at the Golden Globes in 2014. Julianne Moore, a.k.a. every woman’s dream at 55, also stopped me in my tracks with her assymetrical Tom Ford gown.
Now my challenge for you? Find an event at which you can wear sequins this year.
