Pantone Color of the Year 2024: Peach Fuzz

It’s official, 2024’s Pantone Color of the Year is Pantone 13-1023, Peach Fuzz. According to Pantone’s description of the color, “Peach Fuzz captures our desire to nurture ourselves and others. It’s a velvety gentle peach tone whose all-embracing spirit enriches mind, body and soul.” Perhaps it’s a reminder in the New Year for all of us that tend to take care of others first, to take care of ourselves as well! I know I could stand some more self-care time in 2024. How about you?

On The Runway

As you might expect, Spring 2024 Fashion Week displayed a fair amount of peach colored pieces! We wouldn’t say it’s an incredibly easy color to wear for ever skin tone. Therefore, designers are pairing shades of cream, peach and pink together to create a cohesive color palette. This prevents an overwhelming repeat of the 80’s/90’s pastel peach looks. I think we can all agree some pastel ensembles we wore deserve to be left in the past!

Can’t wait for Spring to add some Peach Fuzz inspired pieces to your wardrobe? We love the shimmery look of this Valerie Top and Tilda Slip Skirt for a winter party ensemble. Or if you’re already dreaming of warm temperatures and spring flowers, snag a pair of these Bridget Wide Leg Crop Pants in peach while you still can! We get it, peach isn’t exactly everyone’s color. Maybe a shoe is the best way to wear your peach fuzz? Cariuma did their annual Pantone collaboration with these sneakers. And we love the Veja Vegan Leather sneakers as an interesting twist on the white sneaker trend!

An easy way to incorporate Pantone’s Color of the Year in your life is a good beauty product. Wear it on your nails, lips, eyes or cheeks! This Fenty Beauty Eyeshadow Palette in peach offers a variety of peachy/pinky shades that are neutral and flattering. And you all know that Kyle and I love Merit for it’s clean beauty products. This soft peach shade of their Cream Blush might need to be added to my makeup drawer. There are many, many options out there of peach colored lip sticks, stains, and glosses. However, I chose this L’Oréal Satin Lipstick for it’s excellent price tag and the fact that the color is actually called “Peach Fuzz”!

  1. I’ve already written my blog about my dislike of this unfortunate choice that flatters nobody .

    1. Oh and It is soooo good! I hope you will let me share it!

  2. This color, in combination, with olive green, was my fave combo in the late 80’s. My father wasn’t afraid to tell me it made me look like death. He was right. I still love the combo, but now that Pantone wants it to be back in style, I’ll save it for retro decor and not try to wear it on my clothes ever again!
