What were our top five blog posts of 2021? How did the list surprise me this year? Keep reading to find out!
Looking forward to sharing our favorite things with you in 2022!
Happy New Year!
I was completely shocked that neither our Spring Comfort Shoe Guide, nor our Fall Comfort Shoe Guide made the list. Normally, anything with the words comfort and shoes is a sure-fire winner. Instead, you readers were all about the Combat Boot. Just goes to show how bored everyone was with their wardrobes!
In fact, many of you even purchased the Lani combat boot by Vionic! The boot pictured below is the Naturalizer boot that ended up in my closet. (Gee, I wonder how someone knew I wanted these for my birthday?)
That anything with the phrase “alternatives to skinny jeans” would be in our top five blog posts of 2021 was not a surprise in the least. Let’s all take a minute to thank Kyle again for the many, many hours she spent putting together this blog, photos included. Not to mention these are all her actual jeans she purchased with her own money! (Oh look, she is wearing her Llani slides!)
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale blog will be a top five blog post in 2021, 2022, 2023, and until we either decide that we’re sick of authoring it or Nordstrom stops having the sale. RLS readers can’t get enough! Either you value what we have to say, or you just really love the sale and will read anything you can get your hands on about it. I guess we will never know! In the meantime, we’ll keep the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale blogs coming. Again, you have Kyle to thank for the quality of these posts.
Is it cheating that we group all five of the must-have pieces into one for the purposes of our annual top five list? We run the must-haves as a five week series every year. And every year, you guys are all over every one of them. Yes, even in 2020. This year the Comfortable Blazer post ranked highest. Stay tuned for the annual update in March!
Ok, this one through me for a loop at first. But you know what? A lot of us hate shorts, and no one was wearing work clothes last summer. So yeah, an alternative to shorts guide would be very popular. Don’t worry readers, this one is here to stay!
