What to wear for Mother’s Day

Do you know what to wear for this year’s Mother’s Day celebration? We assume we aren’t the only ones who have been getting spammed with Mother’s Day gift ideas for the last month. Sometimes, it’s just too much. Instead of adding to the noise, we thought we’d offer some Mother’s Day outfit inspiration.

We have put together three incredibly easy (and fun) ensembles to help you figure out what to wear for your Mother’s Day celebration. Use these ensembles as a jumping off point for creating your Mother’s Day style, or if you see something you love, links to purchase are provided!

Happy Mother’s Day to all our favorite moms!

Mother’s Day at a winery

All of our Mother’s Day outfit inspiration options are relatively simple and easy to put together, but this might be the easiest. This adorable Duffield Lane Percy Popover Dress (c/o Duffield Lane) needs almost nothing else with it. The detailed puff design and ruffle at the bottom of the sleeve add just enough to the dress to keep it interesting without adding many accessories. Pair with a cute hat and a comfortable sandal, et voilà! Easy Mother’s Day outfit achieved.

Duffield Lane Percy Popover Dress, $198
Orthofeet Chloe Sandal, $110
Toucan Hats Exclusive Black Wide Brim Sun Hat, $68 (Similar Item)
Tom Ford Damian-02 Sunglasses, $490

Mother’s Day Brunch

I (Lani) will be attending Mother’s Day brunch at my sister’s house, followed by a group family outing to see The Devil Wears Prada 2! I’m so excited. All that to say, I’ll be wearing something casual, yet pulled together. This Spartina 449 Ivonne Shirt Dress (c/o Spartina) is one of my favorite new pieces for spring because it is so, so comfortable, yet makes me feel “dressed”. I’ve been pairing it with a woven belt to give myself a bit more shape. For a more styled look, roll the cuff back once, button the bottom sleeve button, and push the sleeve up a bit.

Spartina 449 Ivonne Shirt Dress, $159.60
J. Mclaughlin Isobel Belt, $148 (Similar Item)
Aerosoles Chrystie Sandal, $125
Tom Ford Damian-02 Sunglasses, $490

Mother’s Day at the park

Let’s be honest, I (Sloane) will likely be spending my Mother’s Day at a park, trying to burn off all the energy from my two-year-old. I would consider jeans and a t-shirt to be dressed up for my plans. However, since we might venture to a restaurant for a casual Mother’s Day lunch after the park, I plan to grab my J.Jill Linen Blend Striped Blazer (c/o J.Jill) to throw on for lunch! I love this blazer because it is unlined and super light for those warm spring days. It’s easy to throw on and upgrade a basic ensemble without trying too hard, exactly what I need!

J.Jill Linen Blend Striped Blazer, $99.99
Quince Cotton Modal Crew Neck Swing Tee, $16
H&M Harper High Rise Wide Leg Jeans, $34.99 (Similar Item)
Nisolo Huarache Sandal, $138
Ettika Molten Hoop Earrings, $65 (Similar Item)
Ettika Liquid Luxe Bolo Necklace, $63 (Similar Item)
BaubleBar Nadia Bangle, $42 (Similar Item)
