The Oscars 2019 Fashion Parade
This year’s Oscars will probably go down as the first modern day ceremony without a host. While I’m sorry that Kevin Hart behaved offensively, I was thrilled with the broadcast. Forced to get creative, the producers did just that and it worked beautifully. The Academy upped the star wattage and banter between presenters, which gave the audience more time to check out the fashion! And wear fashion they did. The Grammys 2019: The Fashion Highlights
I can not even remember the last time I watched the Grammys. I think I got to that certain age where I knew so few of the people nominated that watching the Grammys just became an exercise in feeling old. But I’ve always loved the non-Rap performances, the sometimes jaw-dropping fashion statements, and Alicia Keys was hosting, so I decided to make an effort to watch the show. Golden Globes 2019: Minimalism Is In
Remember when there were about 10 celebrities in Gucci at every red carpet event, each individual dress decked out in rainbows, stars, bows, and sequins? Apparently those days are behind us, as most stars favored minimalism on the Golden Globes red carpet. Despite the lack of crazy fashion, I didn’t feel like anyone played it too safe or too boring.
