Lani and I were lucky enough to be invited to the DC Design House by our friends over at Anthony Wilder Design/Build last week. The 2017 DC Design House is an amazing event benefiting Children’s National Health System. 23 designers are assigned different rooms to transform in a 27,256 square-foot house. Yes, it’s huge. The Potomac home is currently listed at $10.28 million and includes nine bedrooms, nine full bathrooms, and four half-baths.
If that wasn’t breathtaking already, the talent featured in this home is out of this world. The artwork and furniture was so tastefully chosen for each room. A few rooms in particular stood out to RLS, and, luckily, we didn’t have to lie when we told Dana Schwartz and Keira St. Claire-Bowery of Anthony Wilder that their room was our favorite. I highly recommend that you go check out this room yourself so that you get the full impact of the incredible crystal figures on the dresser and the bubble photo print. The DC Design House runs through October 29th and tickets are $35.

This room was the RLS dream office brought to life. Notice the lavender loveseat? We were dying for it. The lacquered turquoise ceiling brightened the space up and gave us great ideas for future decorating. Also, check out our Instagram to see the lenticular eyeball piece come to life!
