Ahhh, the Seventies…again. This is the trend we highlighted as THE trend of the season in the spring. And here we are again, the Seventies is the trend of the season. The difference? This isn’t just a fashion people thing anymore. We’ve just returned from shopping with clients in New York and I can tell you, this trend is EVERYWHERE. Although we are arguing for grey as the color of the season this week, the second runner up is a rusty, coppery, distinctly-seventies brown. Not your color? The one item you should try is a high-waisted flare jean. This is the most important item on my fall shopping list!
Happy Shopping,

While we at RLS would love to see our readers in fringed mini-skirts, their bosses might not. To bring the Seventies into the office, stick with a muted color palette and add a touch of suede. Chocolate brown, burnt orange, deep teal, mustard, and olive, will all bring out the Seventies vibe without upsetting HR.
