Superga’s Collaborations
Italian sneaker line Superga is a favorite of fashionistas everywhere, but 2016 has been an especially big year for the classic canvas sneaker. Early this year, they released a collaboration with jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer featuring adorable sneaker prints. Here she is looking effortlessly cool in a long-sleeve dress and her “shot through the heart” patterned sneaker.

If you’re looking for something a little less whimsical and a little more chic, look to their collaboration with luxury shoe brand Del Toro, known for their suede sneakers and velvet loafers. The polished cord laces with the subtle suede print would be super cute dressed up for dinner with a blazer.
On the opposite side of luxury, Superga is now producing a cheaper version of their sneakers and selling them for half the price at Target. I dare you to try to tell the two versions apart. For those in search of a cute canvas sneaker that you can run into the ground without guilt, look no further. Click through the slider to shop all of the options.

The Rise of Puma
The new it-brand on the block, I suspect that the classic Puma suede will be catching up to the popularity of Adidas Stan Smith in the near future. How is that possible? As mentioned on the blog before, Rihanna has been steadily increasing hype with her creepers, furry slides, and Fenty trainers. However, there is a new face on the brand and this girl has over 50 million instagram followers looking at this picture of her wearing Pumas.

Yep, it’s Kylie Jenner. This photo is actually from her second campaign with Puma, but I’m particularly drawn to the 80’s retro vibe from the new ads. And Puma just keeps signing new deals, whether it be with rap groups or the New York City Ballet.

Bucketfeet’s New Store Front
You may have heard about Bucketfeet, a startup founded in 2011 by two friends in Chicago. The company makes fun sneakers with printed designs made by independent artists. The artists are paid for their designs and earn a $1 royalty on every pair of their sneakers sold. Since Bucketfeet started, they’ve featured the work of over 40,000 artists from 120 countries.

They’ve recently opened their third retail location, the first storefront outside of Chicago. The store in the new Shay Development at Shaw in DC is beautifully covered with a mural painted by local artist MasPaz. The store officially opened on July 9th, and is joining Bonobos and Kit and Ace at the new shopping center. See our favorite picks below.
